Covid Self Isolation Rules. If you are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated you may need to self-isolate for 10 days since you last had contact with a person with COVID-19. You shouldnt go out to buy food or other essentials.
Close contacts of those identified with Omicron also had to self-isolate. If you live with other people in the same household set yourself up in one room on your own. If other members of your household do not have symptoms they are not required by law to self-isolate in the house with you but it is recommended where possible.
If you live with or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 you will not need to self-isolate if any of the following apply.
Return to work or school. Self-isolation means not leaving your home because you have or might have COVID-19. You are not allowed to leave your home except for urgent medical care or in an emergency including to avoid injury or escape risk of harm from domestic violence. Contact your health care provider or local public health authority for instructions immediately.
