Spider Plant. The spider plant is so named because of its spider-like plants or spiderettes which dangle down from the mother plant like spiders on a web. These plants produce rosettes of thin and long leaves that are either solid green or have white variegation.

The Spider Plant is also known for its tremendous air-purifying qualities making it a healthy addition to your home as well. It has mid-green leaves with a broad central white stripe. Nicely lit room without direct sunlight.

Check the soil every 4 or 5 days. Fertilize spider plants monthly in spring and summer using a water-soluble fertilizer. Minimum temperature should be no lower than 45F 7C. It doesnt mind being watered frequently but it can a while without water.
